BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) -- One victim is suffering major injuries after a solo vehicle crash on Mirasol Avenue in Buttonwillow Tuesday evening. Just after 3:40 p.m., California Highway Patrol officers were dispatched to the intersection of Mirasol Avenue and Buerkle Road for a single vehicle crash. One person is suffering major injuries and 5 others had minor injuries, according to the CHP Traffic Incident Information Page. Officers found the vehicle up against a power pole when they arrived on scene. The cause of this crash is under investigation. Check back for updates regarding this story.
