Cayuga and Oswego counties under a lake effect snow warning from Wednesday to Sunday

On Tuesday at 1:29 p.m. a lake effect snow warning was issued by the National Weather Service valid from Wednesday 1 p.m. until Sunday 6 p.m. for Cayuga and Oswego counties.The weather service comments, "Heavy lake effect snow expected. Total snow accumulations 2 to 3 feet through the entirety of the prolonged event in the most persistent lake snows. Winds gusting as high as 40 mph."
