Two dead in latenight car crash in Raynham

RAYNHAM, Mass. (WWLP) - Raynham police and fire crews responded to a car crash late Monday night, where two out of three of the vehicle's occupants died from their injuries.
Raynham Police Chief David LaPlante and Fire Chief Bryan LaCivita said that at about 9:25 p.m. on Monday, a 911 call was made regarding a car crashing into a tree on East Britannia Street near Thrasher Street. Emergency crews found a 2017 Hyundai Elantra leaning against a tree, and further investigation determined that the vehicle went airborne before crashing.
Teen arrested after crashing stolen vehicle attempting to evading police in Holyoke
Averi Costa-Burton, 26, of Fall River was the driver and was ejected from the vehicle. The passengers, Dorryn Robinson, 28, of New Bedford, and a 25-year-old man from Fall River remained in the vehicle. Robinson was found dead by emergency crews upon arrival.
Costa-Burton died after being brought to Morton Hospital. The 25-year-old man from Fall River was taken to Rhode Island Hospital by helicopter, where he was treated for life-threatening injuries.
The Raynham Police Accident Reconstruction team and the Massachusetts State Police Detectives Unit are currently investigating the cause of the crash.
