SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) - While there are only a few more days left to see the beloved holiday lighting display at Forest Park this winter, it's not too late to visit Bright Nights before the last day of the season on January 5. Amelia Park Children’s Museum hosts New Year’s celebration Bright Nights at Forest Park will light up every night at 5:00 p.m. until Sunday, including New Year's Eve and Day. It will close each night at 10:00 p.m. on Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday, and at 9:00 p.m. on Thursday and Sunday. On the first night of the new year, visitors can experience a meet-and-greet with the Snow Queen and Frost Princess in Santa's Magical Forest from 5:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. This location has been a special destination at Bright Nights for photo opportunities, purchasing gifts, and enjoying the amusement park ride. To visit Bright Nights, tickets must be purchased in advance and can be bought at brightnights.org or at Big Y locations.
