ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – If you plan to go out on New Year's Eve in Albuquerque, be prepared to bundle up.
When the clock strikes midnight Tuesday, it is expected to be 36° F. Temperatures will continue to drop into the early Wednesday morning with 34°F at 1 a.m. and 33°F at 2 a.m.

In the evening on Tuesday, the temperature will be in the 40s from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. before dropping into the 30s.
Despite a cooler day on Wednesday for New Year's Day, temperatures will start to rebound again with a warming trend beginning Thursday afternoon and will continue into the weekend, according to KRQE meteorologists.
