Child shot in Frayser, two detained

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — A child was shot and two people detained Tuesday in Frayser. Police responded to the shooting in the 1800 block of Whitney Avenue at 12:42 p.m. One male juvenile was taken to Le Bonheur Children's Hospital in non-critical condition. Two are detained, and police are investigating.
