(WGHP) -- The Piedmont will enjoy another day with seasonal temperatures then cold air will move in. Sunny and breezy at times on Wednesday with lows in the upper 30s and highs in the lower 50s. We could see wind gusts around 20 mph. Thursday, mostly sunny with lows in the upper 20s and highs in the upper 40s. A cold front will bring us mostly to partly cloudy skies on Friday. Highs will be in the mid to upper 40s. Chance of rain 20%. Behind the cold front, Saturday will be a cold day with lows in the lower 20s and highs in the upper 30s. Skies will be sunny. Mostly to partly sunny skies on Sunday with lows in the lower 20s and highs near 40 degrees. We are keeping a close eye on Sunday night and Monday morning. There's a chance the precipitation could begin as snow or perhaps a rain/snow mix. At this point, it looks like the precipitation will change over to a chilly rain with highs in the lower 40s.
