ASHWAUBENON, Wis. (WFRV)—As New Year's celebrations spread throughout northeast Wisconsin, Titletown invited people to celebrate in the shadows of Lambeau Field on Tuesday. Titletown New Year's Eve, (TTYNE) was in action starting at 10 a.m. until 1 a.m. The event is free, and available for anybody looking for family-friendly activities. Packers’ iconic “Ice Bowl” remembered 57 years later Some of the activities included tubing and skating, and there were also plenty of ice sculptures on display along with photo opportunities. Live music and entertainment are part of the celebration as well. "This is one of my favorite events to plan," Titletown Events Manager Jessica Dickhut said. "It's the best feeling to watch and know that everything our team has worked for is paying off." There are also two different countdowns and fireworks shows to ring in the new year. The midnight countdown will be shown on the side of Lambeau Field, with a family countdown at 9 p.m. for those in need of an earlier countdown. Fireworks will accompany each of the celebrations. New Year's items will be handed out for free on a first-come and first-serve basis. While food is available for purchase to those in attendance. Those who wish to watch from their cars can do so from lots 5 and 6. High School Hoops: Seymour boys & Kewaunee girls roll in non-conference showdowns LED furniture, swings, and games like cornhole or minigolf are available for the guests. An LED curling rink is located on the game courts as well for those interested. Fire pits and heating lamps are also throughout the park to keep the warmth.
