Woman facing murder charge in connection to deadly stabbing in Concord

CONCORD, N.C. — A Concord woman is behind bars and is accused in the death of her 22-year-old niece.
The Concord Police Department says they arrested 41-year-old Sunsharay Coulbourne early Tuesday morning in connection to a deadly stabbing.
Police say, they were called to a home on Coventry Commons Avenue around 12:48 a.m. for a domestic disturbance between family members. When officers arrived, they found a 22-year-old woman with stab wounds. The woman died at the scene.
Coulbourne is charged with First Degree Murder and is currently being held in the Cabarrus County Jail without bond. The name of the victim has not been released at this time.
