Baton Rouge Police arrest man in connection to shooting that left boy dead

BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) -- Baton Rouge Police arrested a fourth suspect in connection to a shooting that left a boy dead.
Roger Parker, 19, faces charges of five counts of attempted first-degree murder and one count each of first-degree murder and illegal use of a weapon.
BRPD Chief Thomas Morse said Parker is also being charged in connection to an October shooting. He faces three counts of attempted second-degree murder, two counts of aggravated criminal damage to property and one count of illegal use of a weapon.
According to Morse, Parker's girlfriend and her mother face charges of accessory to first-degree murder.
Diellon Daniels, 8, died from his injuries after a shooting on Swan Avenue on Nov. 27. Police said a mother and her five children were hit by gunfire multiple times during the drive-by.
Police arrested three suspects earlier this month: Yancey Jarrell, 23, Tremell Harris, 27, and Kendrick Profit, 22.
Jarrell and Harris were charged with five counts of attempted first-degree murder and one count each of first-degree murder, illegal use of weapons or dangerous instrumentalities and obstruction of justice.
