BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) -- A woman accused of starting a blaze in Rosamond that destroyed multiple mobile homes and injured residents was arraigned Tuesday on two counts of arson. Stephanie Burko, 40, pleaded not guilty and is due back in court Jan. 7. She's being held on $75,000 bail. Massive fire breaks out at abandoned CarQuest building on Union Ave. The fire swept through homes on 100th Street West on Friday morning, according to Kern County firefighters. Two people were hospitalized with minor injuries. No firefighters were hurt. Burko, who is homeless, was arrested about an hour later after spotted igniting other fires nearby, firefighters said. She has no other cases listed against her in Kern County.
