Where to watch New Year’s Eve fireworks
"We felt comedy would be a great alternative... not everyone wants to be in a crowded environment. For those people that live in Ardsley Park, or the Starland District, Victory North is a quick Uber or walk from their homes and this is a way to give locals a chance to celebrate without having to go too far from home," said Brian Goldman, the chief strategic officer at Victory North Savannah.
For those on Tybee, Hotel Tybee's neon glow party kicks off at 8:30 p.m. Click here for more details, including more information on a package with an overnight stay.
In the Lowcountry, Harbour Town offers family fun with a 7 p.m. ball drop and a traditional countdown. For more information on celebrating near the lighthouse, click here.
In Savannah, the night wraps with the city's signature midnight fireworks show. Officials say there will be double the fireworks this year.
"There are many ways to celebrate (restaurants, bars) .. on River Street. Due to the incredible support of our sponsors, we were able to double the amount of fireworks this year," said Julie Musselman, the executive director of Savannah's Waterfront.
