GLENWOOD, Hawaii (KHON2) -- Hawaiʻi Island police are searching for the driver of a gray Toyota pickup truck that fled the scene after striking a sedan around 9 p.m. on Dec. 28. The Toyota pickup truck was traveling toward Hilo when it struck a black Mazda sedan. The occupants of the sedan were transported to the Hilo Benioff Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries. Police are also searching for the driver of the getaway vehicle so they can confirm the identity of the driver involved in the crash.
