RANDOLPH COUNTY, N.C. (WGHP) — All lanes of Interstate 85 North are closed as the result of a crash on New Year's Eve morning in Randolph County, according to the North Carolina Department of Transportation. The road is closed at Exit 106 for Finch Farm Road. The closure is causing traffic backup extending over the border into Davidson County. There is no word as to what caused the crash or the status of anyone involved at this time.
