The following items were taken from police and court reports and news releases. An arrest does not constitute a finding of guilt. Alsip GUN POSSESSION: Malik A. Clay, 27, 4200 block of 115th Street, Alsip, was arrested Dec. 20 at work in the 5300 block of 122nd Street and subsequently charged with aggravated unlawful use of a weapon after officers recovered a 9 mm handgun with an attached loaded magazine from a vest he had placed in another employee’s car and determined Clay had been denied a gun permit, police said. Burbank ROBBERY CHARGED: Amer H. Natour, 25, 5100 block of 79th Street, Burbank, was arrested Dec. 23 in that block and subsequently charged with robbery in connection with the attempted theft of a bracelet in the 5300 block of 79th Street during a Dec. 15 Facebook Marketplace transaction, police said. Natour was also served with a Burbank warrant charging aggravated assault for allegedly using a tow truck to repeatedly ram an occupied car in December 2021, police said. Evergreen Park GUN POSSESSION: Paris D. Bonds, 31, 1400 block of Richmond Avenue, Posen, was arrested and accused of aggravated unlawful use of a weapon after officers recovered a .40 caliber handgun Dec. 12 in the 3200 block of 94th Street, police said. GUN POSSESSION: Eugene T. Pughsley, 63, 3800 block of 96th Street, Evergreen Park, was arrested Dec. 14 and accused of aggravated assault after pointing a 9 mm pistol at another person in that block, police said. Homewood RETAIL THEFT: Kaplan Mitchell, 55, 1400 block of Ellis Avenue, Ford Heights, was arrested Nov. 30 and accused of retail theft at Kohl’s, 17620 Halsted St., after taking merchandise selling for $1,644.95 and exiting through an emergency door, police said. Oak Lawn AGGRAVATED BATTERY: An Oak Lawn man told police Dec. 14 he set up a Facebook Marketplace cellphone sale near the police station but the supposed purchaser grabbed it and attempted to drive away, dragging him several feet in the 9400 block of Raymond Avenue as they struggled for possession of the item. Orland Park DEALING ALLEGED: Ernest E. Glover-El, 58, 1600 block of Division Street, Chicago Heights, was arrested and accused of possessing a controlled substance with intent to distribute after a Cook County Sheriff’s K-9 team alerted on his vehicle, with officers subsequently recovering 11.2 grams of heroin, mostly in individual bags, eight grams of cocaine in 16 bags and $2,850 cash Nov. 27, 7300 block of 151st Street, police said. GUN POSSESSION: Marco M. Ortiz-Betancort, 25, Chicago, was arrested Nov. 29 and accused of aggravated unlawful use of a weapon and endangering a child at Macy’s, 1 Orland Square Drive, after officers recovered his unloaded .40 caliber pistol and loaded extended magazine from a backpack his 4-year-old daughter was wearing, police said. RETAIL THEFT: Two Lake County, Indiana, women are accused of taking merchandise selling for nearly $3,800 from Macy’s, 1 Orland Square Drive, Nov. 29, police said. Officers arrested Amanda S. Bianconi, 37, Dyer, with merchandise selling for $1,524 and and Telisha M. Frechette, 47, Saint John, with merchandise selling for $2,264.50, police said. DUI CRASH: Cristian Marinez Contreras, 32, 5300 block of 138th Place, Crestwood, was arrested and accused of drunken driving and failing to reduce speed to avoid a collision during a Dec. 3 crash investigation at 135th Street and La Grange Road, police said. Palos Heights DOZING DUI: Mason E. Nealon, 26, 14700 block of Cleveland Avenue, Posen, was arrested Dec. 22 and accused of drunken driving after an officer found him asleep at the wheel on Harlem Avenue at College Drive, police said. Palos Hills DOZING DUI: Timothy J. Barber, 38, 11000 block of 76th Avenue, Palos Hills, was arrested Dec. 12 and accused of drunken driving after an officer found him asleep at the wheel at 111th Street and Southwest Highway, police said. Park Forest HOUSE BURGLARY: Kitchen and laundry appliances were discovered missing Dec. 6 from a vacant house in the 200 block of Hickory Street that also had damage to the garage service and garage house doors. DOMESTIC: Jimmie L. McCoy, 40, Chicago, was arrested Dec. 8 and accused of aggravated domestic battery in an undisclosed block of Niagara Street battery, police said. DUI CRASH: Khory D. Boone, 25, 400 block of Stanton Street, Park Forest, was arrested and accused of drunken driving, driving on a suspended license and no insurance during a Dec. 9 crash investigation in the 200 block of Indiana Street, police said. AGGRAVATED DUI: A Chicago Heights man whose license was revoked for drunken driving was arrested Dec. 11 near Sauk Trail and Meota Street and subsequently charged with aggravated drunken driving, police said. Victor M. Thompson, 59, 500 block of West 16th Street, was also cited for driving without insurance, failing to signal and improper lane use, police said. ONCOMING DUI: Chantae Foster, 26, Chicago, was arrested Dec. 14 and accused of drunken driving after falling asleep facing oncoming traffic at Westgate and Wildwood drives, police said. Steger SHOTS FIRED: Officers responding to a Dec. 26 shots-fired call at an apartment complex in the 3400 block of Kings Road determined the offenders had fled after damaging the building and vehicles but not injuring anyone, police said. Will County WRONG WAY DUI: Evelyn A. Tomlianovich, 55, 200 block of Dogwood Street, Park Forest, was arrested Dec. 20 and subsequently charged with drunken driving, driving the wrong way on a divided highway and using an unsafe tire, according to Will County court records online. Tomlianovich’s vehicle had sparks underneath as it crossed over the raised concrete median on Lincoln Highway and into oncoming traffic before turning into a gas station near Harlem Avenue in unincorporated Frankfort Square, a sheriff’s spokesperson said.
