WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) - A group in Wichita is offering 24/7 help to people who struggle with addiction. According to one of the participants in the rehabilitation program, the holidays can be especially hard since they are surrounded by family and friends who are drinking. So, the constant access to help makes all the difference. "During the holidays, it gets super hard because all the family gets together, and everybody enjoys a cup of wine, a couple beers, and me being an alcoholic, one is not enough, and a hundred still is not enough," said the participant. That is why the group offers the free rehabilitation program 24 hours a day. "This helps me that there's no excuse for me to drink or use drugs because it's open 24 hours a day there's always somebody to talk to, so I'm not alone when these times come at 11, 12, 1 in the morning where I have an anxiety to drink," said the participant.
