Rhode Island senior Harsimran “Honey” Kaur was named the Atlantic 10 Player of the Week, it was announced Monday. Kaur is the first Ram to be named the conference Player of the Week since Mayé Touré on Jan. 9, 2023. Kaur shot the lights out in the league opener for Rhode Island, pouring in a career-best 27 points en route to Rhody’s 83-63 win over Saint Louis. The center was 71.4 percent from long range, connecting on a career-high five 3-pointers to lead the Rams to victory. Kaur added 10 rebounds for her fourth double-double of the season, and second in as many games. The Rams are back in A-10 action on Thursday at St. Bonaventure.
