FRESNO, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) – A total of 10 drivers were arrested at a DUI checkpoint held in Fresno over the weekend, according to the Fresno Police Department.
Police say the checkpoint took place on Saturday in the area of Palm Avenue and Pinedale Avenue from 9 p.m. to 4 a.m.

During the checkpoint, officials say 21 drivers were cited for operating a vehicle unlicensed or with a suspended/revoked license, and 10 drivers were arrested for driving under the influence.
A total of 278 vehicles were contacted during this checkpoint.
Officials say DUI checkpoint locations are based on reported incidents of impaired driving-related crashes.
