Today and tomorrow will be the warmest day for many of us over the next several days. Stronger winds will pick up again Monday.
A Red Flag Warning and a Fire Weather Watch have been issued for parts of eastern New Mexico Monday. We will see winds gust between 35-60 mph with humidity percentages between 10-15%. Elevated to critical fire conditions will be present.
A strong cold front will move into New Mexico from the northwest Monday night and through the day Tuesday. This will bring in cooler air to start the New Year. Temperatures are expected to rebound once again, heading through the end of the week.
