NEW MEXICO (KRQE) – Investigators in Santa Fe County are trying to determine how a man ended up in the middle of the road. The sheriff's office says a Good Samaritan called 911 after discovering the man Saturday morning lying in the road on Lower Firehouse Road in La Puebla. Ice menorah destroyed in Santa Fe Plaza within a day of the display being put up The man, identified as 43-year-old Carlos Maestas, died later that evening. If anyone has any information on this incident, they are asked to call the sheriff's department.
