VISALIA, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) - A wanted man was arrested after hiding from officers in an attic of a Visalia home Saturday, the Visalia Police Department announced.
Police say around 1 p.m. they initiated a vehicular traffic stop near Mooney Boulevard and Tulare Avenue. A pursuit then initiated after the driver failed to yield.
Officers report the vehicle came to a stop in the area of Vassar Avenue and West Street and the driver, identified as 39-year-old Robert Davis, fled.
Investigators say Davis was found hiding in the attic of a nearby home and with the help of a Tulare Police Department K-9, he was taken into custody without further incident.
Police report Davis was arrested on suspicion of numerous charges, and had multiple outstanding warrants.
