JOHNSTON, R.I. (WPRI) -- Five people were forced from their home after a fire broke out Saturday evening in Johnston. Crews responding to George Waterman Road just before 7 p.m. were met with a fire in the kitchen. Fire David Iannuccilli said the fire was contained to the kitchen, but caused a lot of damage.
