VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (WAVY) -- Virginia Beach Fire Department (VBFD) is investigating a shed fire that occurred Saturday afternoon. At approximately 1 p.m., crews responded to the 2000 block of Oak Leaf Lane in reference to a reported residential structure fire. Upon arrival, officers observed smoke and flames from a shed and nearby fence. There were no injuries reported to civilians, firefighters or pets. The fire was controlled at around 1:10 p.m. and marked out by 1:30. The origin and cause of the fire are unknown.
