Enthusiastic, responsible leaders needed for Summer Fun program

HONOLULU (KHON2) -- Are you responsible, caring, enthusiastic and love working with keiki? Now is the time to apply as a leader for the City and County of Honolulu's Department of Parks and Recreation's annual Summer Fun program.

The Summer Fun crew will join keiki with games, music, dance, arts and crafts and more.
Those who choose to participate in the program can also expect to earn valuable job skills such as teamwork, leadership and conflict resolution.
Hawaii has a new state plant
Applicants can apply for a wide variety of available positions, each with pay rates ranging from $15 to $20.10.
DPR hopes to host about 10,000 keiki this year and needs more than 500 staff members to make such accommodations.
Applications are available online for college and high school students. A PDF application is also available for adults who are not enrolled in college.
Those who complete the non-college application can then email the district park they would like to work at:

The program is set to run on weekdays from 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. starting June 9 through July 25. Keiki registration will begin in May and can be conducted primarily online HERE.
