MINOT, ND (KXNET) — There wasn't a dry eye on the Minot Air Force Base as friends and family members gathered together to welcome back the 69th Expeditionary Bomb Squadron from their deployment this week. Officials say the Bomb Squadron was deployed to assist in cyber security. Earlier this year, the Squadron was deployed to Europe and completed a historic Bomber Task Force mission to preserve Euro-Atlantic security. The Minot Air Force says they're thankful that their comrades got to safely return home after another successful deployment.
