(BCN) -- A man was arrested after allegedly robbing a laundromat in Greenbrae, Central Marin police said.
Police responded to the report of a burglary in progress on Thursday at around 11:30 p.m. in the 2100 block of Redwood Highway.
Francisco Lugo Garcia, 36, from San Rafael, reportedly drilled out the cash machine of a laundromat before escaping through the establishment's attic onto the roof, police said.
Lugo Garcia reportedly jumped from roof to roof while officers set up a perimeter and urged him to come down safely, according to a Friday press release.

However, Lugo Garcia reportedly presented a suspected black semi-automatic handgun from his waistband and waved it around in the direction of the officers and deputies, authorities said.
After orders to drop the gun, Lugo Garcia complied and threw it off the roof.
After approximately 25 minutes of negotiations, Lugo Garcia surrendered peacefully and was taken into custody.
Lugo Garcia is facing charges of alleged burglary, felony vandalism, resisting arrest, and brandishing a replica firearm, according to police.
He is booked into the Marin County Jail.
The gun was later identified as a loaded black pellet gun void of orange safety markings, police noted.
