SANTA FE, N.M. (KRQE) – A Santa Fe man wanted for attempted murder and aggravated assault is behind bars Saturday. Santa Fe police arrested 29-year-old Juan Uribe-Torres around 5:00 a.m. after an officer recognized his car at the Maverik gas station off Sawmill Road and US Highway 285. Police makes 2 arrests in separate incidents in southwest Albuquerque He had outstanding warrants for attempted murder and three counts of aggravated assault in connection to a shooting in early October. The Santa Fe Police Department says Uribe-Torres tried to flee but was later taken into custody. Police also say he has a lengthy criminal history, including breaking and entering and driving while intoxicated.
