PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — A car crashed into a building in Providence on Dec. 27. A spokesperson for the city said that police responded to Ledge Street around 8:45 p.m. for a report of a motor vehicle accident involving an occupied building and a possible gas leak from an outside meter. The building was evacuated and was later deemed “structurally intact” by the building inspector. The driver was transported to the hospital for evaluation by no injuries were reported.
