UNION CITY, Ind. — Police in Union City said they found more than 30 firearms, thousands of rounds of ammunition and multiple drugs and paraphernalia after arresting a man on a felony warrant on Friday. The Union City Police Department's Special Entry Tactical Team, alongside the Randolph County Emergency Response Team, apprehended 26-year-old Adam Fisher in the 6600 block of E. 1st Street in Spartanburg. Adam Fisher (UCPD) According to UCPD, Fisher was wanted on a felony battery warrant. Officers discovered illegal drugs and paraphernalia during the arrest and took Fisher into custody without incident. Later, UCPD said they conducted a search warrant on the residence. Police seized the guns and ammo upon entering. UCPD added that their initial investigation leads them to believe these were stolen during a burglary that took place in Darke County, Ohio. "We are grateful for the seamless coordination that allowed us to apprehend a dangerous individual while ensuring the safety of all involved," UCPD wrote in a Facebook post. "The recovery of stolen firearms and drugs further highlights the importance of our ongoing commitment to combat crime and protect our citizens." The investigation remains ongoing, and police said they expect additional charges.
