Brookhaven Mill Farm in Greensboro wants your live Christmas trees. Here's why

GREENSBORO, N.C. (WGHP) — Are you looking to get rid of your live Christmas tree? If so, a Triad farm can take it off your hands.
Every year, Brookhaven Mill Farm takes in real Christmas trees and feeds them to their sheep.
It's a way to add some greens to the sheep's diet since the fields are bare this time of year.
It's not just the sheep who enjoy a Christmas tree meal, but the goats, donkeys and chickens get to have some, too.
All you have to do is drop off your tree in any field with animals after driving up the farm's gravel path.
The farm is located at 1617 Brookhaven Mill Road in Greensboro and is open on weekends from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. You can also interact with the animals while you're there.
