HONOLULU (KHON2) -- The Maui Humane Society has been awarded a $50,000 grant from national nonprofit Petco Love to enhance its efforts to save and improve the lives of pets on Maui. Petco Love has invested nearly $400 million in lifesaving efforts since its founding in 1999. They partner with over 4,000 organizations across North America to help find homes for pets. Through its initiatives, the nonprofit has helped over 6.9 million pets find loving families.
