HANNOVER, ND (KXNET) — A 79-year-old man from Almont has died in a rollover crash after losing control of his car on the highway.
According to the North Dakota Highway Patrol (NDHP), on December 27 at about 4:25 p.m. CT five miles south of Hannover, a Jeep Gladiator was traveling southbound on Highway 31 when it veered off the roadway and entered the east ditch.
The car struck a culvert, which caused it to launch over the water before it landed on its driver’s side and came to a stop. The driver was pronounced deceased at the scene. There were no passengers in the car.
The cause of the crash is still under investigation by the NDHP.
