PITTSFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) - Tapestry Health announced that medication abortion services, which have been offered since 2023 at their Northampton location, is now available in Pittsfield. Tapestry Health is a healthcare non-profit organization based in Western Massachusetts, with a variety of services such as sexual and reproductive healthcare, harm reduction, nutrition programs, and gender affirming care. Katrina Mattson, manager of the Tapestry Sexual and Reproductive Health Clinic, said that anxiety surrounding abortion access gave their organization the desire to expand their services to the Berkshires.
