ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – One of the biggest sporting events in the state makes its return to the University of New Mexico's University Stadium on Saturday. TCU will take on Louisiana in the 19th annual New Mexico Bowl. The TCU Horned Frogs are riding a three-game win streak, beating Oklahoma State, Arizona, and Cincinnati and their quarterback is ranked eighth in college football. The Ragin' Cajuns, meanwhile, have won eight of their last nine games but fell short in the Sun Belt championship game.

Both coaches say it's shaping up to be a good matchup. "They spread the ball around on offense. There's not one or two guys that are getting it the whole time where you can key in on that. I think there is a lot of weapons that they have and I think they do a really good job on both sides of the ball," said Louisiana Head Coach Michael Desormeaux.
"When you are a ten-win football team like they are and a team that played for a conference championship, you've going to have some depth. They're going to have some guys who are going to have opportunities. And I'm sure those guys players are good football players," said TCU Head Coach Sonny Dykes.
The New Mexico Bowl kicks off at 12:15 p.m. on Saturday.
