PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — Providence police are investigating after a car crashed into two parked cars and a fence on Smith Street Thursday night. According to Providence police, a car crossed into oncoming traffic before sideswiping another vehicle. The car then collided with two parked cars before ultimately striking a fence. There were no injuries reported at the scene and the driver of the car fled on foot. Police found the car to be unregistered with incorrect license plates.
