SIOUX FALLS S.D. (KELO) -- The South Dakota Highway Patrol has announced their sobriety checkpoints for the month of January. Sioux Falls 2024 homicide tracker: 16 homicides mapped These checkpoints will take place in the counties of Bennett, Charles Mix, Codington, Davison, Hutchinson, Lake/Moody, Lawrence, Lincoln, Meade, Minnehaha, Pennington, Roberts, Sanborn, Spink, Stanley, Walworth, and Yankton. The monthly checkpoints are designed to prevent impaired driving, according to a news release.
