Man dies weeks later in deadly Northeast Kansas City shooting

KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- The Kansas City Police Department released that one man has died after a shooting that occurred on December 10.
KCPD days that just before 5 p.m. on December 10, officers were called to the 100 block of North Lawn Avenue on a shooting. When those officers arrived, they found an adult male victim suffering from multiple gunshot wounds near the doorway of an apartment complex.
Pursuit ends in deadly crash in Wyandotte County
That man, who KCPD identified as 26-year-old Jaylen Andrews, was taken to an area hospital by EMS with life-threatening injuries.
As of yesterday, December 26, KCPD says that Andrews succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead at the hospital.
