Wisconsin man arrested for OWI after crashing into bus station

MADISON, Wis. (WFRV) – A 56-year-old Wisconsin man was arrested on Monday night after crashing his vehicle into a bus station while allegedly driving under the influence.
According to the Madison Police Department, officers responded to a crash with injuries at the intersection of Wright Street and Anderson Street shortly after 9:15 p.m. on Dec. 23, 2024.

Upon arrival, officers discovered that a car had collided with the bus station, causing extensive damage to the structure.

The driver, identified as Willie Williams, was transported to a hospital for treatment of his injuries. Following medical evaluation, Williams was processed for operating while intoxicated (OWI).
