(COLORADO SPRINGS) — King Soopers has announced an opening date for its newest marketplace location in northern Colorado Springs at the corner of Highway 83 and North Gate Boulevard. On Wednesday, Jan. 22, a ribbon-cutting ceremony will be held at the new location, 2731 North Gate Boulevard, and the store will open to the public immediately after. The new store will offer a traditional grocery shopping experience with added amenities including fresh sushi, Murray’s Cheese, Starbucks, apparel, pickup services, and a fuel center. “We are thrilled to serve this vibrant community by providing access to fresh, affordable food and essential products,” said Store Leader, Mat Quartararo. “As we prepare to open our doors, we look forward to welcoming new customers, reconnecting with familiar faces, and building lasting relationships. Once fully staffed, the store will employ over 300 associates.
