Man hit by train on Dec. 17 identified

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) -- A 40-year-old man who was hit and killed by a train earlier this month has been identified. Joseph Michael Axiaq, of Bakersfield was hit the evening of Dec. 17 on tracks at Norris Road west of the Knudsen Drive overpass, according to coroner's officials. He was declared dead at the scene.
