A Holiday Spectacular featuring heartwarming performances showcasing the talents of SEASPAR participants lit up the Performing Arts Center at Lemont High School on Dec. 17. The performances marked the official start of the holiday season for the SEASPAR community, which serves people with disabilities in Brookfield, Clarendon Hills, Darien, Downers Grove, Indian Head Park, La Grange, La Grange Park, Lemont, Lisle, Western Springs, Westmont, Willowbrook and Woodridge. The evening featured a wide array of performances that showcased SEASPAR participants’ incredible talents, from soulful piano pieces to spirited vocal performances. Each act brought a unique touch to the stage, creating a magical atmosphere of merriment and celebration, according to a news release from the organization. “We are incredibly proud of our performers and grateful to the program leaders who helped them prepare for this special night,” said Matt Corso, executive director. “This event is a wonderful way for our community to come together and celebrate the holiday season, and it wouldn’t be possible without the dedication and hard work of everyone involved.” The SEASPAR Holiday Spectacular at Lemont High School’s Performing Arts Center on Dec. 17 featured a wide array of performances that showcased participants’ talents. (SEASPAR) SEASPAR officials said the Holiday Spectacular wouldn’t have been possible without the program leaders, instructors, and performers who made it such a success, as well as the participant families for their unwavering support for the arts. “Their dedication and passion continue to inspire and uplift the entire SEASPAR community,” they said in the release. About 150 friends, family members and supporters joined in the celebration from the audience. The Holiday Spectacular was open to the public and free to attend, thanks in part to event sponsors Kids Plus Pediatric Dentistry, King Car Wash, Bob Carter’s Auto Body Inc., Willow Ridge Glass, Suburban Door Check and Lock, and Blue Light Rain HVAC.
