Editor's Note: This story has been edited to clarify the events that unfolded. ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — New details were released in a crash that happened on I-590 Friday morning. According to the Monroe County Sheriff's Office, deputies saw someone driving their vehicle very fast on Empire Boulevard in Penfield. The deputy tried catching up but the driver continued to drive recklessly. During the incident, the driver lost control of the vehicle, and hit a guardrail, which led to the car overturning and crashing into a support post. First responders extricated the driver, a 26-year-old man, from the vehicle and took him to the hospital. He is in stable condition. The driver was issued tickets, but deputies are continuing to investigate the incident.
