BRIDGEWATER, Mass. (WWLP) - The town of Bridgewater has announced that it is currently accepting applications for the open position of town manager. Bridgewater's previous town manager, Michael Dutton, served 12 years in the position until he recently took a job as the county administrator for Barnstable County. The responsibilities of the town manager will include implementing policies established by the nine-member town council and understanding the operations of each member as well as the other town departments. The town manager will meet and network with stakeholders and dedicate time to meaningful town projects. The town of Bridgewater released a full position statement highlighting the duties of the town manager.
