NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) - Norfolk police are investigating a shooting that occurred Christmas night on Piney Branch Court. According to officials, just before 7 p.m., officers were called to Sentara Leigh Memorial Hospital for a walk-in gunshot wound victim. Officers arrived to the hospital, where they found a 20-year-old man suffering from non life-threatening injuries. Officers then determined the incident occurred in the 5300 block of Piney Branch Court. The incident remains under investigation.
