KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- A Belton man was arrested after investigators say he fired gunshots from a minivan at the same house on three separate occasions over the course of a week.
Raymore police assisted the Belton Police Department and took Pharrell Canady, 21, into custody on Christmas Day.

Cass County prosecutors charged Canady with six felonies, including three counts of unlawful use of a weapon and three counts of armed criminal action, for shootings that happened on December 18th, 23rd, and 24th near Kenneth Lane and Westover Road.
Court papers say there were no injuries, but significant damage was done to the house, and some comments on Belton police's Facebook post announcing the arrest mentioned the shootings terrified people in the neighborhood.
The charging document says Canady is first suspected of shooting at the house five times on the 18th just after 12 p.m. A victim who was home said her son heard what he thought were gunshots, and found five bullet holes in windows and the front of the house.
Belton police went back to the house on the 23rd just after 11 a.m. for a shooting report. A neighbor said someone in a black Dodge Caravan with a missing hubcap fired a single shot into the house. Both victims from the first shooting were also home during this shooting.
Then on the 24th court papers say Belton police went back to the house for the third reported shooting at about the same time of day, this time neighbors reported hearing multiple gunshots. Investigators say they found five shell casings in the street and one bullet in the house.
Neighbors described the same black Dodge Caravan at the scene, and a dispatcher searched a license plate reader database for a van matching its description. They found the minivan in the system and sent a picture and registration information to officers.

Raymore officers found it at a senior care facility and arrested Canady. Investigators searched the van and a white coat a witness said he wore to work, which court papers say had Glock 9 mm handgun in a pocket.
Canady spoke with detectives and initially denied knowing anything about the shootings or wearing the white coat, but was told he was seen on video from the facility wearing the coat.
He then went on to say that he carried out the shootings because he claimed someone who lived at the house had stolen from a friend of his, and this was his way of telling them to return what he said they took.
Canady made his first appearance on Friday morning and pleaded not guilty.
He was initially held without bond and that condition hasn't changed for now, but he's due for a bond review on January 3 at 10 a.m.
