BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) -- The Kern County Fire Department has is investigating a structure fire that destroyed two-wide trailers early Friday morning in Rosamond. KCFD engines responded to reports of a reinforced structure fire just after 6:30 a.m. at 100th St. west in Rosamond. Fire officials said the wide trailers were fully engulfed with heavy smoke coverage due to strong winds in the area. McFarland man led police on 100 mph chase: warrant A High Wind Warning is in effect for the Mojave Slopes until 10 p.m. Wind gusts are expected to reach 60 mph at times, however not at all locations, along the Slopes. The department used a dozer to help extinguish the blaze. No injuries were reported. Kern County fire investigators were requested to report to the scene, but officials did not give a reason why. The investigation is ongoing.
