Mentor Public Library hosts talk on inaugural balls

Explore the history of inaugural balls throughout America’s history during a free program at noon Jan. 8, at Mentor Public Library’s Main Branch, 8215 Mentor Ave.
The speaker will be a ranger from the James A. Garfield National Historic Site in Mentor. Naturally, they will also highlight President Garfield’s ball at the Smithsonian Institution.
