PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WPRI) — An investigation is underway after a car crashed into a hotel in downtown Providence early Friday morning. A manager at the Hotel Providence confirmed a car struck the Mathewson Street building just before 1:30 a.m. Despite the damage, the manager said the hotel is still open.
