Metro to offer extended service after Commanders game Sunday

WASHINGTON (DC News Now) -- Metro is teaming up with the Washington Commanders to make sure that fans can get home easily after Sunday's game against the Falcons.
In a news release, Metro announced that it will be providing extended hours on Sunday -- everyone who enters the two closest stations before they close will be accommodated for.

Metro said that any fans who plan to head to the Downtown Largo station should get there before 12:32 a.m. If they're planning on leaving from Morgan Boulevard, they should get there before 12:35 a.m.
Metro said that final trains will also be held at transfer stations to make sure that fans can get home to any station.
There is construction downtown on the Orange, Silver and Blue lines that may affect some routes, but shuttle services will be provided Sunday evening as well.
