PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — A batch of Northwest Naturals two-pound Feline Turkey Recipe raw frozen pet food has been recalled after it tested positive for avian influenza virus, also known as bird flu, according to the Rhode Island Department of Health (RIDOH). One case of illness in a domestic cat has been reported in connection to this pet food but did not occur in Rhode Island. The affected products are packaged in two-pound plastic bags with “Best if used by” dates of 05/21/26 B10 and 06/23/2026 B1. This product has been sold in Rhode Island.
